HAC常见问题

​​​​​To create a HAC account, you must be listed as the student’s guardian in the school records with a current email address and home address on file. If you need to be designated as a guardian, change or update your email address, change your address, or change your language of correspondence, please contact the registrar at your child’s school before registering for a HAC account. 

To register a new HAC account, you will navigate to the Cleveland ISD webpage, select Parents & Students > 家庭访问中心 or visit the site directly at 家庭访问中心. There you will find instructions describing how to create a HAC Account.

Yes. All HAC users must have a valid email address listed on their contact record at the school in order to register for an account. If you do not have an email address, you can create one by using any free source such as Yahoo or Gmail. To add an email address to your contact information, please contact your student's campus registrar. Email addresses for each contact on the account must be unique in order for the 'Forgot Password' link to work.

No. The system only allows for one email address per contact. That email address becomes an active email link for teachers within Teacher Access Center. Each contact on the account should have a unique email address.

Yes, one HAC account may be set up to access multiple students. Contact one of your student's campus registrars to have multiple students 'linked' to your account.

If you wish to change your password, place your cursor over your name in the top right of the web page and then click on My Account and follow the prompts.

Passwords are case sensitive and must be at least 8 characters in length.

If you enter the incorrect password more than 5 times in one day the system will lock you out for 1 minute. You will receive an error message indicating the following, “You have entered an invalid username or password, or your account is currently locked out.” Your account will automatically unlock after 1 minute. When the account unlocks after 1 minute, you can use the recovery link on the HAC login screen to recover your username or password.

The system will send you an email with a link that states:

“Dear Username, You are receiving this email because you requested to retrieve your 家庭访问中心 login information. If you did not make this request, please contact your school district. To reset your password, click the link below:”

When you click on the link in the email you will be asked to answer one of your challenge questions. You must answer correctly to be able to change your password. If you still have trouble changing your password, please contact the Registrar at your student’s school for further assistance. Email addresses for each contact on the account must be unique in order for Forgot Password to work.

Verify the email is not in your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot locate it, your email address may be incorrect in HAC. Please contact the Registrar at your student’s school for further assistance.

To update your challenge questions and answers, place your cursor over your name in the top right of the web page and click on My Account.

Only contacts listed as “guardian” in the contact record will be able to access student information through a HAC account. Contact the registrar at your student’s school to update contact information.
